Crash Deck

This is a project where I had to design my own skateboard deck.  Because I am a fan of the ocean, I decided to add a wave.  I think that by having the wave affect continuing throughout the design, you really feel as if you are watching the waves crash

Point De Vue(Perspective)

The assignment for this project was draw a room in 1-point perspective.  1-point perspective basically means something that is leading off into the distance.  Here this isn't my exact room, except for the bed, everything is from my imagination.  The hardest part of this project was keeping a constant light source, but I think I executed it well. 

New Year's Eve

This is a self-portrait.  Last New Year's Eve one of my friends took this picture, I loved it so much that when I was assigned to draw the front view of the face, I knew that this picture was what I wanted to draw.  I really liked this picture partly because when I added shades into my drawing, I really emphasized the darkness of my eyes.  Because of this, the first thing the viewer is drawn to are the eyes.

Darkness

Here is my first art project of the school year.  This is a pencil drawing.  The goal of this project was to draw the side view of a face.  Here I feel that the contrast between the dark background and light face makes the face and its features stand out.
